Gather your hat, sunscreen and binoculars because from where you will be sitting you face the channel, a prime whale watching zone. These ocean front studios have an awesome unobstructed view on Maui with the Island of Lanai on the left and the Island of Molokai on the right. Sea turtles can be seen in the water below and occasionally rest on the beach. With the Pacific Ocean waves calling, you cannot be any closer to the pristine waters for sail, swim, or snorkel. Not to mention, there is no better place to watch a sunset than from the lanai of an ocean front studio at Kahana Beach Resort.

By renting from a timeshare owner you will reserve on of the 180 degree ocean front view studio units. Kahana Beach Resort is L shaped. There are eleven floors available for guests. On each floor there are four studio ocean front units (180 degree view of the ocean) and two studio ocean view units (~40 degree view of the ocean) from the balcony lanai. The two side units are ocean view units that are owned/rented by the Company.

A studio unit has a queen size Murphy bed and foldout couch to accommodate four people. The unit is air conditioned and very comfortable for two adults. Families use the studio units and put their kids on the foldout couch. The kitchenette has everything you need to cook and serve for four people. Four of the floors have pay for use full size washers and dryers.

Kahana Beach Resort is located halfway between Kaanapali & Kapalua, which are just minutes away, offering a complete array of restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. The resort is within a 10-minute drive of four championship golf courses. If you want to stay casual walk next door to the Beach House Restaurant with ocean views. Across the street about a block up is a strip of stores with sushi, pub food, and clothing. There is also a strip mall with McDonalds, a convenience store and Maui Brewing Company about two walking blocks away.

With an ocean front view and closeness to attractions, this is by far the best value you will find on West Maui!

Beautiful View

This room had a beautiful view looking out at the ocean. From our balcony, we could see sea turtles swimming along the shore. Not to mention it didn't cost us an arm and a leg to stay here.

Breathtaking oceanfront view from the lanai

Thank you Claude for letting us stay at your property. We had a great experience staying there. We enjoyed one of the best sunsets from the lanai. We also saw tons of turtles swimming in the water and a baby shark swimming just by the shore. On one lucky day, we also saw a family of dolphins playing in the water bit far towards Molokai. This resort is in a quiet neighborhood, however towns like Kaanapali and Lagaina are just in 10-15 driving radius. Overall, we had a great time staying at the Kahana Beach Resort. I will definitely recommend staying there if you’re looking for quiet neighborhood and oceanfront property. Mahalo!

Sound of the Ocean and Amazing View

The condo had everything we needed and was in a great location. Would recommend getting a rental car. Condo was ocean front and you look down off the lanai to see beautiful water. One day I even watch a turtle swimming. You can hear the waves roll in through the sliding glass door. Amazing ocean sounds to sleep by.
