the hotel is in a decent location. kinda upset didn’t have a view of the ocean. the property needs updating. felt very old and dated. pool was not impressive nor was the “dining hall” i’d stay again if there was a major renovation otherwise i’d probably select a different property

Customer service was great. They only gave 2 towels and we had 4 people so every day we had to go ask for more towels. They have a roof too pool but never went to it. Parking is limited but we always had a spot. It is an extra $15 a day for parking.

The only positive feedback I have has to do with the accessibility to the the hotel gym and pool, however, upon check in, I was charged an additional $20) per day for parking and amenities/hidden fees (not including tax) because we booked through Expedia and not the hotel site. So please watch out for that. We did not have our bed made on night 2 of our stay and the breakfast was pretty limited in terms of options ($16 per person for breakfast) and was not worth it. We also did not get any water bottles until we brought it up to the check out clerk at the end of our stay.

A double king sized bed at this hotel equates to two separate smaller beds that if pushed together would make a king sized bed. Never heard of such a thing, and thankfully front desk was willing to change our room. More of a run down hotel with a phone booth sized shower

Tired property with pleasant staff

This is a tired property, especially in the cheapest room category and in the restaurant space. But staff were friendly and they are obviously trying to make an effort to make it an interesting location. If you are looking for premium caliber accommodation, stay away.

The staff was extremely nice! But this is simply a place to sleep at night. There is not much the hotel offers during the day, restaurant hours are limited and cocktail lounge hours are limited to dining. So no drinks by the pool unless you bring your own. The hotel is located on a very busy street (no fault of the hotel) just keep in mind that you can hear everything, all night. This place is okay if you have activities planned in the area. Maybe a good spot to stay after a RTH trip. But not for more that 1 or 2 nights. We stayed for 2 nights before going to Kaanapali.

Rooms not as nice as the lobby!

The pictures on the site showed a beautiful beach, but that was behind another hotel further down from this one. They called it their sister hotel. We couldn’t get breakfast on a Monday, as the restaurant was closed, so had to walk down to this other hotel that morning. The room and bathroom were very old and tired, so it was hard to make it look clean. The bed was comfortable but the white sheets didn’t fit the bed well and they had a grey tinge to them. The staff were very nice and helpful and they let us stay an extra three hours for free, as we didn’t arrive from the airport until almost midnight.
