«Quaint Apartment» is 1 of a total of 4 holiday apartments / studios located on the site of this former grain and rapeseed mill. In the former grain mill, where flour was once made in the basement, there is now a 1 bedroom apartment and a 2 bedroom apartment. We rented the 1 bedroom apartment for a week with bedroom, living room, kitchen, a modern bathroom and a lovely terrace with panoramic views.
During our stay all apartments were rented out. Despite this, you hardly heard anyone. This is a place for those seeking tranquility. The mill is surrounded by meadows and woods and a nice circular walk runs through the grounds and eventually leads you back to the mill after many kilometers. Of course you have to follow the right signposts!
Depending on the wind, you can sometimes hear the traffic on the highway in the distance. That noise level is very acceptable. But even better you hear the birds, we also heard the exotic sound of a golden oriole here every day, which we found very special. We would like to come back here again. In the area you can walk endlessly, but also cycle. And the owners Gertrud and Bernd are extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. Thank you!
