Directly across the street is Magic Sands Beach (officially Laʻaloa Beach County Park), one of Kona's favorite hangouts known for its unique “magic” — during winter swells, the soft white sand can mysteriously disappear overnight, revealing the lava rock beneath, only to return with calmer seas.

White Sands Village offers a fantastic collection of resort-style amenities, including a pool, hot tub, sauna, tennis courts, and BBQ area, all surrounded by lush tropical grounds. Whether you're enjoying a beach day, unwinding by the pool, or dining on the lanai, White Sands Village #224 is the perfect home base for your Big Island adventure.

- Lanai repairs on units 120 and 117. 10/29/25 the contractors will start demolition and then continue to work until the two lanais are complete, which should be by 11/19/25. There will be some loud construction noise at times and some dust.
