Summary:

Beautiful family home centrally located in Kanab. During the Hot Air Balloon festival, the street fair is just 1 block away! The 4th of July festivities are just 3 blocks away! Walking distance to restaurants and all downtown Kanab has to offer! Our 2000+ sq ft home is the creation of a former artist and still bears the southwestern flair of her design. Near Zion (30 min), Bryce (1.5 hr), Lake Powell (1 hr), Grand Canyon (1.5 hr), Antelope Canyon (1.5 hr), and Horseshoe Bend (1.5 hr), The Wave and so much more!



The Space:

We offer 4 private bedrooms (3 queens, 1 full) and a 5th twin downstairs to sleep a total of 9 adults (The 5th bed is tucked into an alcove just off the family room). We have 3 full bathrooms, a fully furnished basement and beautiful backyard with views of the red cliffs complete with lawn, garden and hammock.

Downstairs enjoy our TV room, office area, and laundry units. We use a window air conditioner in the studio room which efficiently cools the space.



We have two refrigerators, fully set-up kitchen and even useful outdoor items in the closets!

Don’t miss the game shelf available upstairs with lots of family favorites!

We have plenty of parking available, including parking for an RV, boat, or other large vehicles.

**Please keep quiet while outside enjoying the backyard, we do have longterm tenants that live in the little house at the back of the property but they are very respectful of your privacy and will not bother you at all!

The Neighborhood:

There plenty of fun things to do within walking distance in town like a beautiful park, water park and pool, skate park and more! We are right behind the historic Perry lodge where Hollywood stars such as Marilyn Monroe and John Wayne would stay when they came to town while making their movies!

We are one block away from the Kanab Center and historic Kanab Museum. Cross the street to Station 89 to enjoy a full restaurant, bar, and local art and gift shop. Walk along main street and enjoy many local galleries, coffee shops, and more! Walk several minutes north to the Squaw trailhead for a beautiful red rock hike that overlooks the whole town.

Getting Around:

Everything on Main Street is walking distance away (just a block or two). Kanab does not have any public transportation, but it's such a small town, you don't need it! We definitely recommend taking a hike up Squaw Trail at the end of N 100 E (base of the cliffs) for a spectacular view. This trailhead is four blocks away from the house. We are two blocks away from grocery stores, coffee shops, pharmacies and gas stations. Check out Sunny Creek or Kanab Creek Bakery for great coffee and Willow Creek for adventure supplies!



Other Things to Note:

Cancellations Terms: Please be advised there is a 3% cancellation fee regardless of the cancellation date.

We do NOT ALLOW smoking of any kind (cigarettes, marijuana, etc.) in or near the house. For those who smoke marijuana medicinally please note that it is ILLEGAL in the state of Utah. Our next door neighbor is the sheriff, and the court house is across the street.



The fireplace in the living room upstairs and the stove in the family roo downstairs are not for guest use.
