Charming city on the west coast.

A very zen inspired hotel, everything seems effortless and fuss free, to the extent some basic amenities are forgotten or lacking I feel… Love the onsen with free drinks provided. Location is quite a walk from Kanazawa station but just a stone throw away from the main shopping, otherwise it’s a quiet little city center, not much action anyway.

The amenities were lovely and of super high quality and the communal gender segregated baths were so lovely to have on site. Everything was wonderful about our stay. The only complaint was that the room design was very awkward. A low large gathering table took up enormous space making it hard to find a space for luggage, hard to move around. The bathroom would have benefited from some hooks to hang towels or pjs.
