Like the idea that you can fill up the water in the reception - rather than giving the bottled water. The room was clean and quiet. Hotel in good location near the central market and the temple of tooth. We had a short but lovely stay.

We stayed one night here. It was a nice upgrade from other hotels we have stayed in within Sri Lanka and for a lower price. Nice spacious bathroom, with all toiletries supplied. Nice views from the pool/restaurant area. Really enjoyed the breakfast (not included in price). Walking distance to Kandy lake. Only downside was the limited view which looked into an inside courtyard.

We had an amazing stay at the property, the view from my room was beautiful. The staff and everyone there were very friendly and welcoming. We could see the famous nine arch bridge from the room as well as wake up to the beautiful mountains. I would definitely recommend going there and enjoying the beautiful town of Ella.

Good value stay

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a little tired but the bathroom looked newly refurbished. We had a drink in the roof top bar which was nice.The menu looked good too but not great for vegans so we didn’t eat there. We also didn’t get time to use the pool which was a shame. Would happily stay there again if returning to Kandy. Very good value.

Could have been better

Expensive for the condition of the room. We had a double and decor was poor with some damp and walls peeling.Beds were clean but the room did smell a bit of mildew. Showers were good and rooftop pool was nice. Disappointed that we arrived in restaurant at 7pm and were told bar had closed when on menu it says 9pm. Had same issue trying to order some of the dishes on menu. Could not order Sri Lankan curry. Food we did have was nice but fairly bland. Overall will not visit again.

Fantastic Internet, beautiful bathroom and shower. Was upgraded by Expedia due to my platinum status and although the room was great, it had no windows, this was good for me, but might not be for everyone. The hotel staff were very accommodating and the rooftop restaurant was good, the price and the value for money of this hotel is fabulous. It’s also in a great location leaving walking distance all around Central Kandy an easy option. Would absolutely stay here again.
