Me and my mother stayed for 6 nights and I loved it, especially my mother (she’s also really picky but to my surprise she rated this by far the BEST resort/accommodation in tonga) Nothing can compare to Vakaloa, from their amazing and friendly staff to their delicious food not forgetting the breath taking view you get from sunrise to sunset! Every morning we were greeted by all staff, breakfast was never a let down. Their Wednesday and Friday buffet & show was AMAZING! Room service was really good too. One of their staff I think his name was Kasi was really out standing!!! I honestly highly recommend this resort to anyone travelling to Tonga! It is kinda far from town but it’s honestly the most peaceful place in Tonga! Thank you so much Vakaloa, this will not be my last time staying with you!! Here’s to many more lol

The live cultural dance show with island buffet was Very entertianing especcialy with the live fire show.

right on the beach,gorgeous sunsets,friendly staff,delicious fish served in restaurant.Had a very relaxing holiday and will go back.

An excellent place to stay on the beach. The resort is relaxing and caters to whatever you need. Unless you have a car, or just want to relax at the resort, I recommend not basing yourself at the resort - it's rather isolated, which is its charm. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to engage in conversations about their country. However, the directors came across as short and not that interested in enagaging with guests. They appear to charge you for an outside booking service - a cost that is usually covered by the business for using outside platforms to gain business. Rather unusual, but not worth the argument. Do double check your bill.

Nice and well located hotel

Staff are very friendly and polite. Overall, we had great experience even though we didn't get the room we booked for. Nice breakfast too.
