While the service was great, there was black mold on the ceiling in the bathroom and around the tub, and a very dirty vent fan that didn’t operate. The hotel is in sore need of updates and removal of mold. For a Marriott hotel, this was very disappointing.

Nighttime check-in with excellent as well as the restaurant and its service person. Breakfast: All 3 of staff ignored us and we were the only persons there. Morning, checkout was good.

When we walked in the room it had a strong odor of body Odo. Beds were the worst we’ve ever slept on. Hard as rocks and you could feel the springs. We had just come in from staying at the Comfort Inn & suites in Augusta KS & they had you beat hands down. They had plush wonderful beds. The Marriott room was partially cleaned. Dust & dust bunnies everywhere! The shower was disgusting!!! We almost slipped because the bottom of the shower was slick & greasy! While trying to shower the drain wasn’t working properly and we were standing in nasty backed up water. There was a balcony that was beyond nasty! I would recommend y’all clean it. Bird nests & bird poop everywhere! We DO NOT recommend this hotel and we will never stay there again and we will think twice when and if we ever book with Marriott again. So sad that the last night in KC was the most expensive, because of paying more we expected a top notch experience. I give this place 2 stars at best.
