Love this location!

Absolutely amazing! My boyfriend and I have stayed at this location before, which is why we chose it again. Although we live in Lawrence, KS, we were volunteering for early morning shifts at PCKC 2025 and wanted to stay close by, but in a little less crowded area. This hotel is only a mile away from the KC Convention Center and Bartle Hall and a block or two away from the street car that will drop you off a block away from the convention center. We did end up walking to the convention center one day and that only took 15 minutes from this hotel. The hotel is clean, the beds feel like hybrids and are comfortable, the pillows are soft, the water pressure is great, art is everywhere and the customer service is phenomenal here! We were pleasantly greeted and checked in quickly and when we went to the bar to watch some tournament basketball near the end of the night, the bartender was great at "reading the room", he chatted with us during commercials and left us alone while the game we were into was on. He was very friendly and attentive. Check out was a breeze, with a friendly and polite thank you and goodbye. We will definitely stay again.

Overall, we really enjoyed our experience. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. The amenities were great. Ended up not doing room service, but food was excellent. The room needed a few minor repairs that a handyman could complete. The server we had in the restaurant was very kind, but she kept checking in on us so much that we got a little weirded out and decided to take our food back to the room. Comfortable bed, great soap,shampoo, etc.!

The hotel was super clean and well kept. The staff was excellent. The biggest complaint we had was that the hotel was super noisy! The room creaked all night, the walls were so thin could hear the loud music someone was playing down the hall. I think we were near train tracks because every hour there was this tremendously loud noises that sounded like a never ending plane going by. We could hardly sleep. Other than that, we truly enjoyed the room and bedding was comfortable. The shower pressure was fabulous too! But for sleeping, the noise was unbearable.
