Do I start or end with bed bugs? We are covered in painful bites and it didn’t seem like much of a shock when I told staff they had them and showed them photos of the bugs on our bed. I was only refunded one night and most certainly should have been refunded our entire stay. The first person I alerted to this was on his phone talking to someone, barely pulled the phone from his face asking what I needed. I told him I was sure we had bed bugs or at the very least fleas in our room. Instead of responding to me he continued his conversation on his phone. I said “Did you hear what I just told you?” He looked completely put off by me and simply said “U guess I can move you rooms but I’m a little busy.” It was midnight. There was no one else there to be busy with. Exhausted from the funeral we were here to attend I returned to our room. I rose the alarms once again this morning after waking up and seeing the little bugs crawling on the bed. As if that isn’t enough to deter you; the faucet to the bath tub came off each time we took a shower, the shampoo and conditioner bottles were empty and there is clearly a prostitute situation happening at the hotel that shares a parking lot. We now get to spend money on medications for our bites, drs visits to make sure we don’t also have staph infections with our bites and hours ahead of us to wash all of our belongings and fumigate our luggage. But hey, they gave us $95 back so that should be good right?
