Staff was nice. Convenient location for where we needed to go. Extra parking expense is not always great but atleast I had parking. Dog area was not tended to lots of poop when walking my own dog. Kind of gross. There was a small stove but scared to use due to fire alarms right above. The pictures depicted online did not line up with the room I was given at all and can be quite deceptive. The building was rather old and there were several holes in the walls in my room. Overall, I would stay again if I needed to locate myself in that area for an event but not if some good quiet rest is required as the walls are super thin and the doors slam and wake you everytime someone enters and exits.

The rooms didn’t have doors in the suites. The floor was disgusting and the bedding was filthy. The area appears unsafe. We would never recommend anyone to stay at this property.

So I usually do not write in reviews, so this is what I want people to know. Upon getting there, there is NO HANDICAPPED way to get in the building to check in, I didn't need one, but some people do, so I wanted to mention it! There is a handicapped way in AFTER you check in the building and walk up the flight of stairs. This is an old apartment building not a regular hotel. It does have an elevator. Our room looked like a 1bedroom apt. bathroom on one side with a bed, bed on the other side with a small kitchen NO PLATES or way to eat. Just a fridge, 2 small burner stove and microwave. This is the kicker IT IS 20.00 EXTRA DOLLARS A NIGHT TO PARK, OR YOU WILL GET TOWED! This is not a nice part of town, homeless outside every night we stayed (4) there is a sign inside the room door saying for your protection lock and deadbolt the door when inside. So traveling with my high school son, I did not feel the safest. Breakfast was sausage patty/eggs and biscuits and gravy. Beds were not that comfortable and I could not figure out how to turn the heat up. Bathroom is very small, not handicapped accessible. The shower curtain did not go down to the floor so the floor flooded when you took a shower. There was also no hairdryer in the bathroom. Glad the trip was over, some anxiety having to return after work in the dark, in that area. I will drive farther next time for a better location and free parking. Parking cost us 80.00 more

Without warning we were charged 20.00 dollars to park in the parking lot of this hotel. There were no other places to park and was already charged an extra 100 dollars for a room because it was a KC Chiefs home game. The hotel was 15 minutes away from stadium. Expedia should mention this prior to booking a room. Is 20.00 much, no it isn't but feeling like you are getting taken advantage of does. I would rather be offered a 20.00 fee for breakfast than 20.00 to use their parking lot. And the room was split between bed and office. The office side had no heat and it was 5 degrees outside. When you used the bathroom between the to rooms you nearly froze. 1 star hotel at best. I complained to owners and was told if I cancelled I would not get a refund and be charged full amount. What a terrible hotel.

Cold showers, no cookware, no light, no snow remov

There were no utensils, silverware or glasses for the kitchen. Also no toaster, strainer, or basics cookware you would expect in a hotel with a kitchen. The water in the shower was cold unless you waited past 10 pm and there was no light in one of the room. There was no snow removal in the parking and my car got stuck in the parking.

Our complaint was not having hot water. When we reported this to the front desk we were told, "No, it works." Also, there was painters tape and paper covering the fire detector--it was half torn off but not fully removed after painting. Glad there was not a fire.
