The hotel has self-laundry facilities, washing is free with detergent provided, coin-operated dryers are also available. Many hotels in Taiwan has smoke-smell rooms but this hotel is bright, clean and no smoke smell.

This hotel makes solo female travellers like me feel unsafe! The door to my room was faulty, so it didn’t close properly behind me when I left in the morning, the hotel knew, yet decided to leave my hotel room’s door open (not just unlocked, but open) ON PURPOSE the entire day I was gone, for about 9 hours, and never even tried to contact me to let me know, although they had my phone number and would have easily been able to contact me. I thought someone had broken into my room and gone through my things! It was super scary. :( When I asked the manager why they did that, he refused to respond, even told me I would not able to understand if he told me anyways because of my cultural background/ethnicity, which was super rude, disrespectful, racist and completely unethical. Go somewhere else - I don’t recommend this hotel at all.

I will return

I chose this hotel based on proximity to the HSR and the airport. I was pleasantly surprised by the festivity, the excellent customer service, the wonderful kingsize bed, and I actually really appreciated the free drinks and noodle soup. If i ever end up in Kaoshiung again, I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Great stay near the pier

I had a great time staying at this hotel near Dayi Pier 2. It's close to several transit stops (MRT, light rail and bus) making it super convenient to get around. Front desk is staffed 24 hours, with friendly and responsive staff, so you're never without help should you need it. The hotel building has a floor for guest lounge, complete with a kitchenette, popcorn machine, and computer stations. At the basement there's a good-sized laundry room (free wash, dryer cost 50 NTD per load) next to a ton of entertainment equipment like air hockey table, video games, etc. Free breakfast buffet was included with my Deluxe room booking, and I took advantage twice -- it's an added value where you get a mix of Taiwanese and western style breakfast items. My (Deluxe) room far exceeded my expectations. The room itself is not huge but the modern bathroom is the most spacious I've had on my trip through multiple cities in Taiwan. It has both a generous sized shower and a big tub (which I didn't get a chance to use but would have if I had stayed longer) -- better than the master bath in some houses where I came from in California. The room is well equipped with a luggage rack, plenty of hangers for your clothes, a long desk, a mini-fridge, a safe that fits my 16-inch laptop, and a drawer of free snacks and drinks. You also get 2 free bottles of water and a hot water kettle. There's also a makeup mirror -- super thoughtful. Overall, I feel like they thought of everything. Highly recommend!
