夜班當值的櫃檯員工無心工作，到櫃檯準備check in並響起“歡迎光臨”之燈號及語音時，仍沒注意客人到訪繼續玩手機。另該員工不熟悉experdia流程，跟他說已在expedia上訂房並刷卡付款，並開手機給他看訂單資料，該員工只說沒收到通知，用紙筆將訂單編號抄下，告知需要再付現金才能入住，並沒其他確認動作。及後另一員工出現，叫我先入住並說會再查，如發現有問題可能於退房時需再付現金。
