Historic hotel in the center of Karlskrona

It is a bit old and worn-down, with lots of historic ambiance. The bed was very comfortable. Having more furniture to put our stuff on would have been nice. The breakfast buffet was five-star; I could easily see people staying there for breakfast alone. Perfect gravlax, many coldcuts, cheese, cereals, a great selection of bread, and one morning, there was even a specially baked chocolate cake!

The Hotel has a great location. It is so charming in the middle of the city. We got upgraded to a suite room. It was really nice. The facility is a bit old and it needs a renovation. Breakfast was great. Overall, I'm happy and I would return.

My travel plans changed, so I added an extra day at the beginning of my stay, yet arrived at about 1 am. Thankfully the front desk is open 24 hours. The woman on duty made me feel welcome, and even gave recommendations on the area, and what snacks to try. The room was clean and comfortable. The next time I'm in town, I will stay here again.

Personalen var bra, sÀng och dusch/toa var bra. Det som drog ner intrycket var att heltÀckningsmattan var sliten och med slarvig lagning i hallen. Frukosten bra men det var för lite personal sÄ det blev mycket disk pÄ borden vilket gjorde att det var svÄrt att hitta sittplats.

Rummet nyrenoverat men det saknas möbler, stort nog för ett litet skrivbord och ett lite större sidebord vid fÄtöljerna. TÀta hÄl i vÀggen och mÄla dörrar som Àr slitna. FruktansvÀrt billigt duschdraperi i grÄ plast, hÀr hade en glasvÀgg passat bÀttre framför allt för att inte vatten ska spridas över hela badrumsgolvet. Saknade glas för tandborste. Bra med hyllor och förvaring i "hallen".
