Kasa was the perfect place for me to stay on my recent trip to Wilmington. I needed 2 bedrooms for my mom and I, but didn't want to get 2 hotel rooms, so this was really the perfect solution. And not only was it super reasonably priced, and centrally located to everywhere I needed to go, it was also right on the Cross City Trail, so I could also go for a run every morning, which was an unexpected awesome bonus. The place itself was perfect, everything was clean and tidy, there were all the amenities you could want, including a suitcase stand and a hairdryer, and toiletries in the bathrooms! I also have to give a shoutout to customer service, because they were outstanding. They responded to every question I had immediately, even on Christmas Eve. When they texted to ask how my trip was going and I responded to complain about something completely unrelated to my stay with them, they responded quickly and kindly. So I really appreciated that they were actually human, and actually caring. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Wilmington, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great hotel-like experience, but in a cozy and clean and modern apartment.

The location was decent with lots of shops and restaurants in the area. The apartment was very inhospitable without one comfortable place to sit... even the bed was uncomfortable. It was nice to have a kitchen but there's no coffee maker, only steep coffee that's worse than hotel room coffee. The ice maker in the fridge doesn't work, there's no sleep timer on the tv, the trim on the microwave fell off, the chain on the ceiling fan was broken, and the bathroom sink doesn't drain properly and we had to buy toilet paper. There's not a scrap of fabric to dampen noise and talking in the living areas created echoes. Check in was easy but staying two extra hour costs $36. Seems like customer service was done via A.I. The road noise was significant and made it impossible to sleep with a window open. All in all it was just OK and i wouldn't stay here again.

The apartment was great; the space was ample for us. There were no kitchen towels (we did have paper towels, but dish towels would have been very helpful). I wish there would have been a few more kitchen utensils, as there was just one of each item. Check in was a disaster! Paid for early check in, and did not receive that, and the original person that messaged me back sent some generic messages to me about check in until someone else saw my messages about issues about the lock issues and finally switched us to a new unit. When they tell you they will let the "onsite team" know, just know I don't believe they are onsite as it takes them hours to deal with any situation. The mattresses are very uncomfortable. However, the overall experience was very nice! The location and amenities were great! The neighbors and people in the community are very welcoming and super nice! The apartment was clean and comfortable. If they up their game with the mattresses and communication, we would definitely come stay again!

Kasa Southside Wilmington has the best apartments to stay in while on a long weekend getaway!! Plenty of room for everyone, tons of storage areas for clothes, shoes, food and drinks. Super clean and private. Anything you could ever want is within a 10-20 min drive depending on traffic

Stayed in 101 Pros: Nice bathrooms with large vanities and walk in showers in both bathrooms. Stocked with toiletries. Ceiling fans in living and bedrooms. TVs in both bedrooms Cons: No instant coffee maker. Just hot water maker with bags. Air filter hadn’t been changed in years. Wifi slow on computer. King bed very creaky but comfortable.

Unable to access property due to technical error. Waiting stairwell at 8pm in 30 degrees heat with a five year old and with no information of when we’d be able to gain access. They refused to refund during my calls with them (so we could find alternative accommodation). We ended up having to leave and find an alternative place to stay at 9pm on a Saturday night. To be clear, this isn’t an apart hotel. It’s a vacation rental within a complex where (many retired) people live. There isn’t any physical presence and they appear to be reliant on a call centre if anything goes wrong.
