Really charming Hotel with personality and a historic touch right in the city centre. We booked a big family room and liked it a lot. Vegetarian breakfast buffé and friendly staff.

Good hotel for short stay

Good location within walking distance to the city hall. For a short stay is good and the personal is really friendly. We were 3 and the sofa-bed was a bit to hard, for a short stay is ok but more than 2 nights requires a confortable bed.

Once upon a time

Great service by personell, but a hotel that has seen its glory days way back in time. Got a feeling that it once had style, grace and glory but now a bunch of hippies moved in…

We stayed at Hessenland Hotel by Stay Awesome, Kassel on 30–31 August. The positive side: the rooms were spacious, very clean, and comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming, which made our stay pleasant overall. However, we were quite disappointed with the breakfast. We paid nearly 15€ per adult, but by the time we arrived at 9:00 AM, most of the food was already finished. Even basic items like scrambled eggs took a very long time to be refilled, and one of us had to leave after only having coffee in order not to miss other appointments. For the price charged, we expected a much better and well-stocked breakfast service. Overall, while the stay was comfortable and the staff were great, the breakfast experience left us dissatisfied.
