Good

Staff were very friendly and helpful and able to arrange our Safari at Yala easily. The location is quiet and there only seemed to be two chalets on the site. The accommodation is spacious and comfortable, with a welcome refrigerator, external toilet and shower - but no kettle! Great for experiencing local wildlife. Kataragama has religious significance with many temples and shrines, but little else with much charm.

A delightful wild experience with lovely staff.

We arrived to a warm welcome from the staff. They were caring and attentive throughout our stay. There's not a lot to do after your safari in the surrounding area in terms of shops or stalls. There are however really beautiful rice paddy and lake scenes for anyone who wants to get adventurous on the bikes they provide and the locals are really friendly. The food was delicious. We didn't request anything in particular they just cooked up rice or noodles with chicken one night and the garlic prawns the next. The stay overall was simple yet relaxing and a great place to unwind with a partner or with family. Bring a book and sit outside and listen to the wildlife. We woke up to monkeys on the roof the first morning of our stay which was an exciting experience. The shower facilities are awesome.

Excellent accueil dans une large propriété très bien entretenue. En dehors des sentiers battus. Le propriétaire nous a accompagné au festival de Kataragama et la soirée fut magnifique.

l'hôtel est trèstrès loin de tout. sans chauffeur, il est impossible d'aller manger à l'extérieur Comme partout au sri lanka, il faut demander 2h à l'avance pour avoir un repas; qui était succulent l'hébergement est rustique mais confortable l'hotel est particulièrement bien entretenu et le personnel de service très sympa l'hotel peut vous réserver la jeep et le chauffeur pour le safari ainsi que le taxi pour aller à votre prochain hotel

Très belle chambre familiale avec quatre grand lits dans un joli chalet au milieu d'un parc magnifique. Idéal pour se préparer au départ le lendemain à l'aube pour le safari. L'accueil, la gentillesse et la prévenance de nos hôtes sont à la hauteur du lieu. Diner succulent à la tombée de la nuit au milieu du jardin Que du bonheur.

Nicest owner and staff

We stayed two nights in a huge room with an outside bathroom, which was very cool, eg shower carved into rocks. The host and staff were extremely friendly and helpful, eg the gave us free rides to downtown, where they showed us around the Kataragama festival. They helped us out with different things, such as getting some medication, providing us with free bikes and were overall very friendly. On the downside, we would have liked the option of a Western breakfast. As far as we know there is only Sri Lankan breakfast available and that is a bit much for us at least. By much I mean that my boyfriend and I are not up for fish/meat and chili in the morning.

Hyvää huolenpitoa Heina Nature Resortissa

Tässä resortissa on vain kaksi majoitustaloa, joihin kumpaankin mahtuu max. 8 henkilöä. Paikka on hiljaisella alueella ja luonnonläheinen. Huoneissa ei ole ilmastointia; pesutilat, suihku ja WC ovat erillisessä rakennuksessa, joka toisaalta oli ihan kiinnostava. Palvelu oli henkilökohtaista, avluliasta ja ystävällistä: meitä jopa käytettiin perin kilometrin päässä sijaitsevissa temppeleissä tutustumassa iltarituaaleihin!
