Perched across from the iconic Mountain Heritage Hotel—home to Yulefest, Spa Sublime, and Jamison Views Restaurant—Idlehour offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape and a central location that lets you wander effortlessly to Katoomba’s charming cafes, boutique shops, and train station, all just a 10-minute walk from the cottage.



Inside, the home invites you to curl up in front of the open fireplace with a book, enjoy a cosy movie night from our selection of DVDs, or gather for laughter over board games. The large backyard beckons with alfresco dining and a BBQ, a perfect setting for slow mornings, evening drinks, or stargazing under crisp mountain skies.
