For an economy motel, it was a great value!! We walked downtown for dinner and appreciated the comfy beds.

Property was clean and looked like they had upgraded the mattress and some of the furniture. It’s in a great location, just a short walk to town. Arrived at 230 and office said open but was locked. Checkin time was for 3pm so we came back around 310. Door still locked doorbell didn’t work, had to pound on the door, finally someone came out of the back to help us. Tried to return the key this morning and same thing, office said open but no one was there so we left the key in the room.

Derek the manager was very professional. We actually paid for room but didn’t stay in the room. We left and drove 21/2 hours back home at 9.00pm at night.Chesterfield looked very old, the shower and bathtub needed up grading. Non smoking room but it smelt of smoke maybe because there was a table and chair outside the unit.

Sad, but safe

Well, this was probably the most run down motel I have ever stayed at in my entire life. Where to begin ... no 2nd lock on the main door, bathroom door didn't close, duct tape holding things together in the shower, mug stuck with something sticky to the top of the microwave, linoleum peeling in the bathroom, could hear all the noise from neighbouring rooms, the main office smelled of weed, etc etc etc. HOWEVER, the room had quiet radiant electric heating which was lovely, and at no time did we feel unsafe. The price should have been much less than the $135 + tax charged.

We checked in later the expected but check in was a breeze. The rooms are big and clean. Having hot water was amazing not alot of hotels/motels have hot wster. The only thing i didn't like was our neighbors for reasons but all and all it was a great stay
