We enjoyed our stay at Holiday Inn Kearny. The rooms are nice (though the bathroom door design should be rethought, as you have to straddle the toilet to close the door). The air conditioning was nice and cold, the shower pressure was great and the bed was comfortable. We utilized the pool area, which is a bit small, but worked for our needs traveling with small children. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were on top of refilling everything as needed. I was very impressed to see the fresh fruit selection offered. I would skip the in-house restaurant, Joy’s Table, next time. While the food might have been edible, it certainly not enjoyable. The server was inattentive until they brought the bill.

The staff was amazing and friendly, we stayed on the East side and it was very loud would be my only complaint. The A/C-heater was really loud and being next to the stairs had a lot of traffic. The room was beautiful and shower and hot tub were perfect.

The whole hotel was super clean. The beds were very comfy and the breakfast had such variety. We loved the slides and the little kids pool but we didn’t like that there isn’t a deep pool to swim in. Due to the slides you have to get out of the pool right after.
