I was charged an additional 94 from the hotel and told it was for incidentals and that it would fall off. It had not and when called and asked about it they made it seem like it was normal. I called again and they said they would refund it but that hasn’t happened and it’s been a couple days now. Another person staying there also tried to get in my room. Very bad experience with no follow through on resolving issues

Too pet friendly

The hotel is nice, but too pet friendly. My spouse and I are both allergic to dogs and cats and there are no rooms available that do not accommodate pets. The process of cleaning a room that has had a pet apparently involves extra use of cleaners and odor removers that have quite an overpowering smell. The desk person was very nice and tried to find us a room he thought had limited pet use, but our eyes, noses, and sinuses still reacted. We will not be able to stay at a pet friendly LaQuinta again, unless they designate some rooms to be allergy friendly, and never allow pets in them.
