Clean room with a lovely view, walking distance from downtown Kenmare. Excellent breakfast with a very friendly host who gave us a great tip on a walk in a local park and pub recommendations

Beautiful B&B. Host Mary was delightful, and supplied handy information as well as an amazing breakfast. We would have loved to have stayed here longer. Lovely accommodation & Kenmare is a great location to centre yourself with so many things to see.

Mary runs and owns this place for more than 20 years. She has perfected the service and art of the business. I got an email message regarding directions to get there. She greeted us at the door with a very warm and welcoming feeling. Our room was clean and the breakfast was superb! The home is well maintained with wonderful flowers outside. Kenmare was just a 10 min walk away where you can find bars and restaurants. This is an awesome highly recommended place!

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. Mary is an amazing host and the place is spotless, service is incredible, breakfast is delicious with lots of options. We had the best room in the house with the big bay window! Highly recommend this accommodation.

Ashfield B&B was terrific! Mary was very welcoming and provided us with everything we needed to have a perfect stay in Kenmare. It was the highlight of our trip to Ireland. The property was clean, roomy, breakfast choices were amazing, and Mary was helpful in providing us with tourism suggestions. With a golf course directly next door and pubs and restaurants a ten minute walk, our stay here was fabulous. We would love to return!

This was one of the cleanest, most comfortable B&B we have stayed in. Mary was extremely nice and friendly and always seemed to have time to visit with us. The view from our windows was so nice and peaceful. Our entire stay was too short, I would have loved to have had more time to stay in this B&B. Mary is also an excellent cook. Her homemade scones and jam were wonderful!

Comfortable, quiet and cosy

Mary’s B&B is just out of Kenmare, a gorgeous town on the Ring of Kerry. There are 5 guest rooms. Our room was small but very clean and incredibly comfortable. We had the best sleep here of our nearly month away. Mary serves good wholesome breakfasts each morning. Parking and accessibility to the wonderful places of the area are easy.

A B&B to remember

Everything about our stay at Ashfield was perfect. A clean, comfortable, well kept room. Spacious ensuite. Superb breakfast with plenty of choice & very filling. Easy to find. Mary gave good advice about things to do during our stay & even arranged for some fantastic weather.

Our stay at Ashfield B and B was a wonderful experience. Our host made us feel very welcome right from our arrival, offering us tea and scones after our journey. The room was very clean, spacious and had a lovely shower room with toiletries. There was plenty of space to hang clothes, bottled water and tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of options available and delicious fresh coffee! We would highly recommend this B and B as a must stay if in the Kenmare area.
