We LOVED this property!!—The 4 level outdoor space right on the river with seating at each level.—The view and sound of the river with rafts and kayaks going by, as well as the woods and mountain across the river—The indoor space is attractive, comfortable, and very clean with much attention to detail.—The small kitchen area had all we needed but we didn't actually do much “cooking”.Communication was prompt and excellent. We look forward to returning soon.

This property is absolutely beautiful and well located. You can hear the river from every room with the windows open. The views from the porch were stunning. The apartment was well equipped and had everything we could need for our stay. The kitchenette has equipment for small meals and such. There is a small oven but we didn't have a need to use it. The host was very thoughtful with snacks and drinks upon our arrival and was very quick to respond to any questions or needs we had while we were there. We would definitely rent again!

This place was beautiful. 2 bedrooms 1 bath with two big sofas and small kitchen. The view is what makes it so special and it was private. Steps to the river. I couldn’t ask for anything better!

What a dream! This gorgeous rental is the bottom floor of a multi-level house that's right on the mighty Kern River, which is visible (and audible) from every room except one of the bedrooms. A few friends and I stayed for my birthday weekend and found the unit clean, the towels numerous and the beds comfortable. But the best part was by far the 4-level outdoor space, which had everything you need to lounge, eat with a view, hammock, start a fire pit and fish/float in the eddies right outside. I've only ever camped on the Kern before so being in a jacuzzi with a view of the river and mountains was beyond bliss (even if you could hear the late-night parties happening downriver). One note: If you are planning to cook for 4 people for every meal, bring a large pot or pan as the kitchen is stocked with a basic medium cookware set.

My husband and I had an amazing stay at Lindsey’s. The apartment was amazing more like a house with amazing views. The house itself was perfect. We absolutely loved the spa right on the water. We met George the neighbor he took us fishing and dropped us off so we could float the river. Caught lots of fish and can’t wait to come back. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Our stay was honestly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt peaceful, intimate, and incredibly romantic. This the kind of place that makes couples slow down, reconnect, and fully enjoy being together. The views are absolutely unbeatable, especially at sunrise and sunset, and there were moments where the entire experience felt almost spiritual. The decor throughout the space was beautiful and thoughtfully curated. We especially loved the artwork — the wall paintings and added so much character, and every detail felt intentional and inviting. The hot tub was another highlight and made the evenings even more relaxing after exploring during the day. We also loved how convenient the location was; we made several easy trips into town within about 15-20 minutes while still feeling tucked away in a peaceful retreat. What stood out most was how difficult it was to leave. This place created so many special memories for us, and it truly felt like somewhere we could completely disconnect from stress and just enjoy each other and the surroundings. We’re already hoping to come back soon.
