Over all 4.5. The staff is so nice and very accommodating. We had a couple mishaps, but i think its due to the age of the property. Staff was quick to jump on it. We would stay here again.

Wunderbar gelegene Lodge, in FlussnĂ€he (mit Zugang per Treppe). Zimmer mit Kamin. Großes Badezimmer. Einziges Manko waren die quietschenden Betten/Matratzen, der Schlaf war dennoch gut.

Amazing lodge with a beautiful view of water running through forests and a mountain in the background. Their neon sign is reason enough to pick the places, it’s gorgeous! Everything was walkable. We loved this little town as well.

The Whispering Pines is a great mountain retreat. We were greeted by a colorful neon sign. I love the wood cabin feel of the rooms. The bathroom was extremely large with two sinks, a separate shower, and a separate tub. Our room overlooked the mountains and river, which was gorgeous. We even had a balcony. The staff made sure we had all the information we needed upon check in. The location is extremely convenient—right outside the main center of Kernville. Our only issue was that the bathroom floor was a bit sticky, and our ceiling fans had a lot of dust buildup on them. The pool overlooking the mountains is nice, but if it were heated, that would be better since the water stays cold due to the cold nights.

This is a diamond in the middle of paradise. Quaint, quiet, clean
what more can you ask for. We booked one night and we were not ready to leave. A charming setting. Communication with Juanita was over the top, great skills.

Nous sommes arrivĂ©s Ă  l'hĂŽtel Ă  20h et n’avons pas pu rencontrer une personne Ă  la rĂ©ception qui fermait Ă  17h. Les clĂ©s Ă©taient dans la chambre Ă  notre arrivĂ©e donc parfait. Pas de restaurant aux alentours aprĂšs 21h donc pas pratique quand on arrive tard. Nous sommes partis avant l'ouverture de la rĂ©ception Ă  11h donc nous n'avons pas pu rencontrĂ© quelqu'un pour le check out. On a juste dĂ©posĂ© les clĂ©s dans la boĂźte Ă  clĂ©s. Dommage que nous n'ayons rencontrĂ© personne. Il faudrait Ă©tendre les horaires d'ouverture de la rĂ©ception car l'humain est important et lĂ  nous n'avons rencontrĂ© personne. Le village de Kernville est adorable et nous avons trouvĂ© un bel endroit pour prendre le petit dĂ©jeuner. Nous recommandons ce stop avec Lake Isabella Ă  proximitĂ©. Une belle dĂ©couverte.
