Built in 1893, Poachers’ Cottage is adjacent to the local inn, a traditional Lakeland hostelry which serves both real ale and bar meals. The location is convenient on several other fronts, the local café is across the road, its situated only 200 yards from the A66 for easy access, 400 yards from the start of the Latrigg/Skiddaw walk and a 10 minutes stroll through the park to Keswick town centre. The cottage is suitable for couples and small families on a walking holiday, seeking comfortable accommodation at an affordable price.

3 days in Keswick

Easy to find with off street parking. 15 min walk to town, longer at night when park is closed. Large modern bathroom with tub and shower. 2nd bdrm small with very little room for luggage. Well appointed kitchen but no dishwasher. Good tv with all channels, netflix, Prime. Great pub next. Good for family.
