Booked through hotels.com for 1 night.
The charges on hotels.com included in the total a $50 resort fee which they demanded that I also pay additional $50 resort fee upon arrival.
The Elevators broke and was on the 3rd floor , not a big deal except for the 2 oversized luggage I now had to walk up and down multiple flights of stairs.
Also through hotels.com I was supposed to receive a $15 credit voucher towards food and beverages which the blue flamingo said they were all out of the vouchers and didn’t have anymore. So they basically got over on me for an additional $65 above what was the original total price of the hotel.
Then I came downstairs again because all of the elevators were broken and no room service available and nobody answered the front desk phone.
Then I asked for another bottle of water as I had used the other bottle for the coffee pot and they told me they don’t have any water to give away , so I asked if I could buy a bottle of water ? She got attitude with me and said I just told you we don’t have any bottles of water ?!? How does a hotel in Florida not have bottles of water ?!?
Alex the director that greeted me upon arrival was amazing. Every other staff I interacted with was piss poor attitude and horrible communication skills and customer service was non existent.
Especially the day manager Adrian. His attitude at checkout as I explained some of my dissatisfaction was as though he was doing me a favor by even having me pay top dollar to stay there!
