Room was very clean. Staff was friendly. Food at the bar was good. Only complaint was housekeeping did not show up one day. We came back at 5:00 pm to find an unmade room. The hotel is very pricey. We did expect our room to be cleaned daily. Mgmt said they were short staffed.

The room was lovely very spacious and beautiful but when only staying for one night all the extra fees were a bit much. $30 for parking is a little steep and I had to use valet when in reality there was parking right out front of my door that would have made self parking much easier. I also felt over $50 in resort fees was a bit much as well. I had looked forward to having a nice breakfast before I left however the temperatures at the time were in the 50s with only outdoor seating.

We thought that we were going to have a sandy partial look at ocean view. We had a 2nd story suite with a view of a canal. We also opted to not have our room cleaned each day, but couldn’t get a refill of coffee pods. I asked 3 people and even housekeeping and never got any more. They also have 3 pools that sounded amazing until we found out 2 of them close at sunset leaving the only one by the bar available after that time. So we went swimming in that one and provided entertainment to everyone at bar. It was very awkward. The last day we were there we had a visitor in the room…a cockroach! Since we had to leave early to catch our plane we weren’t able to tell anyone about it. It may be a while before we stay here again. I believe it was way over priced for the misconception of what we were getting for our money.

This is my second time staying at the Parrot Key. Love the hotel. Beautiful property & rooms, plus the staff is always accommodating & pleasant. The hotels location is also great, just a five to eight minute drive to Duval. I would highly recommend staying there.
