The rooms were beautiful and the views phenomenal! I loved being able to pick the vibe of pool setting, it was honestly a game changer. Only down side was having the bar and kitchen so far away from the rest of the pools. Lotion and water at every pool and bathrooms available. Menu was small but so we chose not to eat there. Staff was great and super friendly. Definitely worth it.

Hair found in food, sick after eating lunch, carpets in suite felt odorous and mildew. Bug climbed up my leg while napping in bed. Bugs found crawling around sink in suite are and bathroom sink. Feminine hygiene product found in sheets after waking up the next morning. Expressed our dismay to the resort and Expedia. Both were extremely apologetic and quick to refund us for our stay as we left the resort due to this horrible experience. The resort was amazing with their followup and continued to apologize and search for ways to improve their accommodations.

Disappointing. Marketing tells you things like water view and there’s no water in sight. Room we booked was only available upstairs. That was not mentioned in reservation. Too many stairs for my old knees. Room we got was spartan, though the LG tv was pretty good. Auto 18% gratuity on food service was inappropriate, and not mentioned anywhere in sdvance.

Staff was friendly, i had originally asked for a partial water view room and got an upgrade was told it would only be 50.00 more but was surprised at the total bill, i felt like i was swindled a bit but it was a nice upgrade nevertheless, close and convenient to everything we were looking for

Tree trimming at 5am right outside the door, not a big fan of. The required valet parking was a bit of a surprise.

We stayed here many years ago. Still a nice place but could use some tlc. No water pressure in shower,handle for shower head broken, spackling on walls quick patch jobs, landscape lighting broken and knocked over I don’t think I seen any one of them lit. Staff not pleasant except for the receptionist. Everything you purchase tip is included already even if you buy a soda. We don’t eat on the property as you have many dinning options elsewhere.

Paying to park is absurd. If I’m staying at parrot key resort, I should not have to pay to park!

Fees on everything, and double check your bills with restaurant, overcharged on more then one occasion. Restaurant staff was rude. Nothing is included. Beach is a dirty joke, don’t be fooled, the resort is not on the beach, you need to take a shuttle to Smathers beach only runs 4 times a day last one at 4pm. Do not recommend

Lot to unload here- long read warning. I was there for a single momma abroad trip, and this place was initially great! The room was huge, great view, and comfy. Let me say, my stay during my planned trip (4/5days) was great- easily 4.5-5 stars, then came the last day. Long story short, I was still mad at the in-laws so I extended my stay by 2 nights to NOT be around them. On my last day, I went to re-check in (very dumb/extra), they called me on the phone while I was already in line to recheck in- offered me a whole different room. I politely decline, why would I want to move for ONE night? I guess I should have known they would retaliate, but I figured since I paid my part, nothing would be different - WRONG!!!!. Since I didn’t move, the staff decided to make sure my last day absolutely SUCKED. Staff was rude, the housekeepers intentionally missed my room, which I don’t care too much about, but did ask about it, I didn’t need it done, I wanted to lay down without clothes because I sunburned the living daylights out of my entire backside. I got a quick snarky response that they have till 5pm. I thought they’d go ahead and cancel that room, I didn’t want them to make a bed I was just gonna lay on. Nope, they still came (after 5pm mind you) left fresh linen outside my door for the next day guest, and left the trash for the whole on the porch. Went from 4/5 stars to total trash in less than 24 hours all cuz I didn’t move- and that’s still the most memorable part of my trip.
Trash to make you feel even MORE unwelcome
Clean linens for the next person, way to rush someone out of a room they literally already paid for
This app nonsense worked 50%of the time, till that last day when it was 0%

Old, dirty rooms. Uncomfortable bed and pillows. Terrible water pressure and temperature. Never any ice in ice machines. Pools close early.
