The staff was friendly and helpful. The property is not new but very well maintained. Location cannot be beat if you want to be on the water and in Old Town. It felt safe and the amenities hours overlap so you can be an early morning or late night person. Book ahead if you want Spa massage services. They had zero openings over our 4 day stay. Fine place for families or couples or solo.

This was our third stay at Pier House. We love the resort. The bed and bedding is top notch. We love the onsite restaurant for breakfast and the convenience of having a drink on site at the bars. My only complaint would be that the front desk staff are not very friendly/personable when checking you in. I was disappointed by the lack of greeting or friendliness when we arrived Everything else was great.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The property is well-maintained and the front desk staff were exceptionally friendly, particularly Levi, who provided some excellent local recommendations. The rooms were very comfortable, and the food in the restaurant was of a high standard. My only criticism would be that the fitness room is poorly equipped and could benefit from additional facilities

Biggest complaint was the bed. Being short, the bed was so high it was difficult getting in to the bed. It was also the noisiest bed of any hotel I have ever slept in. Each time you moved during the night the noise was so loud it could have awakened the people in the room next door. The mattress sat on a wooden frame and it sounded like the wood was cracking. Could not get a good nights sleep!

Overall the stay was good… really liked the location. The first room the ac stopped working on day one then the shower overflowed the curb. The lady at the desk had a very bad attitude and wanted to not give is a comparable room. Eventually they moved it’s to the adjacent room. A mirror image of our room. I would think for the cost per night crud around the showers, peeling paint, dirty grout, damaged outside chairs, cracked and missing tiles outside the room, etc wouldn’t happen. If you want more pictures let me know.
