I’ll start by saying manager, when finally able to speak with one, was responsive and refunded our charges- we didn’t end up staying the night. Most unprofessional operation I d ever seen. Very slow check in. Wasn’t given the full ocean view we paid for. Attempt to change rooms was nightmare with some member of what appeared to be maintenance staff literally pounding loudly on the door of rejected room demanding to check its condition. No help with luggage even though had to lug it outside and around building in cold wind. Pool not as pictured/ in front of hotel on street. No bar or anyplace to get food on property or within walking distance. Small cramped lobby. Only one clerk at check in time who had zero social skills. Horrible experience, refused to sleep there. Facility not even close to standards for a 450.00 basic guest room/ in our case with a view of a large air conditioning unit on the roof. Just don’t.

We had three of the worst nights sleep we have ever had. We were woken up at around 0140 all three nights by a rooster crowing that lasted usually until 0330. I know that you are not supposed to harass those birds but surely they could have humanely relocated it and place spikes up to keep them away. Our visit to Key West was completely ruined by this hotel and we will not ever go back.

Listing said partial water view, which was correct. We had a 2nd floor suite that had a nice view of the water from the bedroom. Lot of traffic noise, but can't be helped, busy road. It's a little out of the way from downtown which was fine with us. Only negative would be property and rooms could use an update, but overall a nice stay.

This was the best hotel we’ve stayed at in years. Huge, spotless, bright, great beds and pillows. All the rooms had an ocean view. They gave us a free upgrade to a two story unit. It wasn’t right down town but getting to Duval street or other places was 10-12 minutes. Perfect.

This property is marketed as a resort with resort fee. There is no breakfast and no restaurant. Obviously no room service. Our suite was very nice, spacious and well equipped with cooking utensils etc. Worse was that weather became very cold with stormy winds but the A/C system has no heating ! Only cooling. They did not have comforters and have us extra cotton “blankets”. My wife could not sleep that night. The location is good. For breakfast you have to drive 10-15 minutes unless you are contended with the gas station sandwich and coffee or a fast food chain. We did not use the pool so can’t comment.
