Great location, but showing its age!

I would say that this space is "ok". There are pros and cons to any vacation rental and this property is no different. The pros are location (fantastic - especially with kids), parking (easy and heated), and cleanliness. However, the fireplace does not work, the building has plumbing issues, and windows are drafty. The fireplace is a known issue and we were told the building is older and therefore it will not work. The water was shut off for a day and there is an occasional smell that comes from the guest bath. Maintenance told us to "open the windows" which is hard when it is 4 degrees outside and you have kids in the unit. However, it did get better when we consistently flushed the toilet. We did leave a day early after the water was shut off for maintenance work.
