A quiet hotel just outside of the old town. Two brothers run the business. They renovated the old medresa during covid-time. Both speak English. The hotel is perfectly situated for the visit of Chiwa. It is quiet and peaceful. From the minarete of the hotel you have a wonderful view over Chiwa.

This is a very convenient hotel to the old city. The is new and very clean but it looks authentic. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

Il Madrasah Polvon-qori Boutique si presenta da subito come una struttura autentica, una piccola ed antica madrasa convertita ad hotel, una bomboniera che solo un turista attento ed appassionato saprà valorizzare, con il suo minareto ed il cortile interno. La struttura si presta per vivere di persona l'ambiente della fantastica Khiva che ci si appresta a visitare, per respirarne l'atmosfera, e tutto questo senza rinunciare ad un potente wi-fi, al televisore, di cui probabilmente farete a meno, degli indispensabili frigorifero ed aria condizionata. La colazione viene servita al tavolo la mattina, personalizzata, soluzione perfetta per un piccolo hotel. È ottima ed abbondante, molto legata al territorio. La pulizia quotidiana è davvero maniacale. Nella camera c'è di tutto, dalle pantofole allo spazzolino da denti. Noi eravamo in viaggio di nozze e, ad un prezzo davvero stracciato, abbiamo preso la stanza superiore, quella abitata un tempo dall'Imam. Ha due terrazzi. Uno piccolo che si affaccia sul cortile ed uno sul tetto, molto spartano, dove si può osservare l'Itchan Kala, di cui una delle quattro porte si trova a due passi. La sera è piacevole dividersi tra i terrazzi e le aree nel cortile adibite con tappeti, dove ci si può rilassare con dell'ottimo the. Ma la cosa che più vi colpirà sarà l'accoglienza del proprietario, non quella classica del commerciante capace e ruffiano, ma quella di una persona gentile di animo come ce ne sono poche. Prenotate senza indugio.
