205 Glen Abbey is a newly renovated, expansive 6 bedroom, 4.5 bathroom vacation home in Vanderhorst Plantation with tranquil lagoon views. With multiple indoor and outdoor living areas, this home boasts 4,200 sq feet of beautifully appointed interiors and is a short walk or bike ride to the scenic beaches and fairways on Kiawah Island.
This Kiawah Island vacation home comfortably accommodates up to 14 guests with a layout that offers great flexibility for multiple or extended families to each have their own private spaces while still being able to come together for meals, movies or other group gatherings. As you enter the main floor of the home you come to an open living room with a wall mounted flat panel TV and double doors leading to a furnished screened porch. To the left of the main living room, a grand master bedroom with a king bed, an open deck facing the lagoon, a large en-suite bathroom with a 2 person shower, and a large walk in closet. To the right of the main living room, the dining room has an extended table to seat 10 people with 2 more seats at the nearby kitchen island to allow a party of 12 to dine together. Please note, in the kitchen, only one oven is usable.
The rest of the main floor wraps around a hallway and includes 2 more king bedrooms that share a full bath and then ends in a grand playroom/bedroom above the garage with 2 queen beds, en-suite full bath and even enough extra room for a ping pong table! The second floor of the home features a second king master bedroom with a small private deck overlooking the lagoon and an en-suite full bath. The rest of the upstairs is another large, furnished living area with a wall mounted flat panel TV and 2 twin beds off to the side.

Vanderhorst Plantation is only 4 miles from the top attractions of East Beach Village including Night Heron Park, Kiawah Nature Center, the Roy Barth Tennis Center, and luxury dining and shopping at The Sanctuary Hotel at Kiawah Island Golf Resort.

Fantastic home, especially for a big family gathering. Plenty of social spaces for kids, teens, and adults. Kitchen is so spacious and accommodating for many people at the same time. Easy bike ride to the beach.

Girls trip 65th bday celebration
The property is beautiful. It provided adequate space for my guests. It wasn't well cleaned. I had dust bunnies and particles under my bed. The dishwasher did not work rven after a repair man came out. The washing machine was rusted. We spent a lot of $ to stay there and should have had perfection. My guests had other minor complaints, but overall it did not negatively impact our purpose for being there. We had a ball. Loved the mater suite with shower. Hopefully, necessary improvements will be made. .
