Surround yourself in luxury while enjoying privacy and seclusion all while being close to world class dining and shopping. Enjoy unparalleled views and seamless indoor/outdoor living with a top notch beach steps away and some of the best snorkeling on island directly in front of your condo. Watch whales, dolphins and turtles from the large lanai and settle in with a tropical drink to enjoy spectacular sunsets.

This gorgeous, fully remodeled condo, featuring stunning etched glass and tile, bamboo cabinets and granite throughout, accommodates 4 guests with a Tempurpedic King bed in the master bedroom while the guest bedroom features two Tempurpedic twin beds that can be converted to a King bed upon request. We also provide tempurpedic pillows in both bedrooms. The master bedroom features a slider that can be opened to enjoy ocean views from the master bath. The kitchen is fully equipped and features top of the line appliances and a large island to enjoy the views while cooking and both indoor and outdoor dining seating is available. The following small appliances are also available: Mr. Coffee, a small Keurig, a coffee grinder, toaster, small mixer, Vitamix blender, InstaPot and an air fryer. The lanai also offers a propane grill as well as two lounge chairs to soak up the sun.

Relax inside after a long day playing outside. The condo is fully air conditioned with separate controls for the bedrooms allowing everyone to set their own comfort levels. There are flat screen tvs in the living room and each of the bedrooms that offer local and national television channels plus HBO/Max.

This property sits directly on Po'olenalena Beach, also known as Wedding Beach and Secret Beach, and offers two pools with jacuzzis, one being directly behind this unit. We provide beach chairs, a beach umbrella, beach towels and a cooler. There are two herb gardens available for guests to enjoy as well as multiple tennis courts. Two of the tennis courts can be used for pickleball. We provide 4 tennis racquets and 4 pickleball paddles. There is also a fitness center with cardio and weight machines as well as free weights that is available 24/7. The property offers free on-site parking, EV charging and 24 hour security. The Makena Surf property does not have elevators. While we are on the 3rd floor, the building layout translates to our condo being up a flight and a half of stairs.

This condo has been on VRBO for several years under our former property management company and has consistently earned 5 star ratings. We now live on Maui full time and enjoy managing our condo and interacting directly with our guests.

The location of this condo makes it one of the more outstanding places you could stay in Maui. You’re right on the beach and waking to the morning, waves and experiencing the nighttime sunsets makes for a wonderful stay. Nathan and Cindy are excellent hosts. We had a small issue (likely our fault) and Nathan came right down to tend to it. Also, the kitchen is fully stocked with anything you could possibly ask for. All in all it was a lovely stay and we’d recommend this place.

This was our second stay at this amazing beachfront condo. Beach access was easy and the two onsite pools offer a great option on windy days. Sunsets from the 3rd floor lanai are breathtaking. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances and tools you will need. We also used the barbecue on the lanai and ate many meals out there. We love the proximity of Makena Surf to some excellent restaurants in the Wailea area. We should also mention the decor in this particular condo. In viewing other Makena Surf VRBO options, we found nothing to compare to the feel this owner has created with their furnishings and artwork. All the beach paraphernalia is available as well so no need to worry about chairs, umbrellas, towels, etc. We will likely be back again to this sweet spot in South Maui. Book this unit. Stop looking, this is the one you want. Beautiful unit, in a beautiful complex, steps from a beautiful beach, with beautiful views, located in the absolute best part of Maui. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. The unit is as advertised, lacking nothing. Just steps away from the unit you can snorkel with sea turtles to your heart’s content. Best beach on Maui. Great communication from the owners Cindy and Nathan. Any questions or concerns were addressed immediately and with urgency. Can’t wait to stay here again!

Our family of four had a great week at Makena Surf! The condo is well equipped and a great location on the property. The unit is right by the pool (but not loud) and a short walk to the beach. The unit has an amazing view of the ocean on the balcony where we enjoyed our morning coffee and afternoon drinks. If we find ourselves back in South Maui, we will for sure return to this unit! This property made our trip wonderful!! The location is next to a beautiful beach and is a great area for snorkeling near turtles. We could be in the ocean as quickly as we could walk to our car. The property had all the appliances, cookware, dishes, and cutlery that we needed to easily prepare meals during our stay. I highly recommend opening the lanai doors while cooking or relaxing to hear the ocean waves while staying here. The beds were very comfortable and we all are considering purchasing these same mattresses for our home. The hosts quickly answered any questions we had and proved incredibly thoughtful. We loved our stay and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable escape to paradise!

We were greeted by the friendly helpful owners. The beautiful well stocked updated condo had the most gorgeous view from the lanai. Turtle town is right below. Snorkel heaven! The only drawback is it’s on the 3rd floor with no elevator.

Wonderful stay

Photos don’t do it justice! The property was spotless, comfortable, and perfectly located, with incredible snorkeling just steps away. Cindy and Nathan went above and beyond, providing a welcome basket, thoughtful amenities like beach chairs and pickleball gear, prompt and direct communication, and even mailing back a forgotten item at no cost. This unit at Makena Surf is our favorite vacation rental. The views are spectacular. The condo is very well equipped and comfortable. The grounds are lovely and the adjacent beach is spectacular. Very responsive and gracious hosts.

My wife and I along with my mother in law and aunt had a wonderful time here. Our daughter was married just down the street so the location was ideal. The condo was very neat and clean and very tastefully furnished. We snorkeled every morning with turtles just in front of the property. Sunsets every night were spectacular. Thank you for sharing.
