A late night flight meant I needed a room for one night before the rest of the family arrived. Seamless check-in, spotless room, and a comfortable bed were just what I needed. On mainland time, I awakened early and enjoyed the sun rising over Haleakala as I sipped my tea on gorgeous Keawakapu Beach. I loved my stay, and will definitely return!

The AC was incredibly loud. The lights dimmed whenever it would kick in. Despite there being a modern inverter mini split mounted on the wall, it was non functional and the room relied upon a 1970s era through the wall air conditioner. Window ventilation was inadaquate with no crossflow. With the noise, could not sleep. Otherwise the room was clean and tidy. Cleaning staff was kind and helpful. Desk staff was harried and distracted.

Room was clean. Outdated, but well kept. Beach short walk to the ocean. My only problem is very poor phone reception and Wifi did not work. Front desk not helpful. I would have given 5 stars, but no willingness to help and trouble shoot Wifi gets 4 stars, as I need my computer for work.

The room was kep very clean and the sheets and towels were changed out daily even though it was advertised as every 2 to 3 da6s or as requested. The grounds are well maintained and the beach access is wonderful! Very picturesque area! Priscilla, Emily and Lance are assets to the office staff there and everyone has the ohana feel, very nice!

I have a beautiful clean room with 2 lovely Tommy Bahama beach chairs, which I own at home, they make trips the beach so much easier. When I got there I found the front desk person extra kind and sweet but when I returned to the front desk to tell him my keys didn’t work, the kind and sweet went away. As my weekend went on I felt like this specific man was looking at me oddly with a upset or angry face as I’d pass by him and when I finished checking out I think I over heard them cracking a joke about me to a coworker. I could be paranoid but traveling alone, I need to be extra aware of how people act towards me and around me. I decline my room being cleaned when I stay at hotels as I like privacy, however on the second day with a very used beach towel I asked the maid who had a full bag of towels, including beach towels (they had a special fabric edge), and was cleaning next door, if I could exchange for a clean one was told I had to go ask the front desk. I didn’t as l got distracted, felt a little uncomfortable and just laid the towel out to dry over night. Lastly the breakfast was underwhelming, even if it was a continental breakfast. Soda, water, cans of juice, yogurt, with a few granola bars, instant oatmeal and only 2 kinds of random cereal. I expected something just a little more substantial, and it better quality. It looked like an after thought. Also weirdly the laundry room is only available to guests after 430pm because it’s used by housekeeping
