Kihei Bay Vista is just across the street from the Whale Sanctuary and a very long stretch of beach. A temporary library card can be obtained at the Kihei library for a nominal fee, and they have a ton of "beach books." Windsurf, whale watch, walk the beach and enjoy unbelievable sunsets. The Kihei Bay Vista is centrally located to shops, restaurants, and activities, and is a short drive to the championship golf courses of Wailea and Makena.
