We’ve stayed at Kihei Kai Nani before. We liked this unit in the back. Less noise and plenty of parking.super convenient for Beach Park 2. ABC store, market, restaurants close by. Grounds, pool , bbq kept up daily. a

Great Location
Older unit, with minimal paper products and garbage bags. Construction took place on lanai for a little over a week during our two week stay. Otherwise, kitchen has cooking and dinnerware. Only one set of towels and sheets, but a laundry on site. Air conditioning was great! Comfortable bed! Access to beach and shopping very convenient.

Overall a great budget condo on the beach
We enjoyed our stay. Was big enough for family of 4, 2 teens on the sofa bed. Beach chairs, umbrella were in kinda rough shape but they worked for us. A few bugs in the cabinets but that is to be expected.

Unit issues
I cannot recommend this unit until it has been refreshed. The interior appears to be untouched since built except for the kitchen appliances. There are cracks and bubbling stucco due to water damage. There is a ceiling crack running from the bathroom to the next unit. The wooden floors are cracking and lifting. The television and Internet were not working for 24 hours until the outlet was repaired. The television in the bedroom is not connected to cable and only plays VHS and DVDs. Both screen doors needed servicing. The toilet was repaired twice, the second time we had no toilet for two hours while the repairman went for parts. The water shut-off valve could not be turned by hand, only with a wrench. The bathroom plastic trash can has a hole in the side and bottom with a plastic bag preventing the trash from spilling. The mattress is lumpy and uncomfortable. The kitchen had only one wine glass and no tall/large glasses. The only condiments in the cabinet were salt and pepper. Ants were a problem even after the kitchen area was sprayed and traps placed. There was no radio or ironing board upon arrival.

Awesome location but aging condo
The complex was in a great location of Kihei. The apt is what we expected although with some minor shortcomings. The apt is aging but it was clean upon arrival. Noticed some rust on the shower caddy. Linens/bedding were lacking as well. For 4 adults, we had minimal bedding but it didn't take away from the experience of this trip. The pullout bed needs some repairing at the bottom corners to ensure the mattress and person is properly supported.
