Relaxing stay

Such a clean hotel right on the beach. Beautiful and large gazebo overlooking the beach where you can get out of the sun or watch the sunset. Great location; the grill across the street was the best restaurant we ate at in the area. Staff was great. Absolutely no complaints.

Not too great

The staff was wonderful and were very attentive to problems. No pool in operation, Tv that was impossible to figure out, toilet that wasn’t flushing. Our room was on the construction side where there was a giant crane working next door. That being said, the gazebo on the beach was lovely.

What a wonderful time my husband and I had! The room was clean and we were close to restaurants, shopping and just a few steps to the beach. This is actually the 2nd time going to Nags Head and we stayed here both times. Can’t wait to go again!!❤️

It was our first time visiting the Outer Banks. We found our stay at the John Yancey Inn to be above our expectations. The rates are reasonable, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff here are friendly and helpful. The Inn has a beautiful access to the beach as well. We reccomend this ocean front Inn to everybody

Quaint vintage hotel on the beach. As is expected the hotel has some wear from beach climate and tourists but is comfortable with nice amenities. Beautiful beach access, looks like nice upgrades being done to pool. Breakfast is nice. Easy walk to restaurants, ice cream.
