In Hornsherred water and nature are in the center with a lot of cultural history from the Stone Age with the barrows to the beautiful castles in Jægerspris and Selsø. There are numerous possibilities for excursions. Within 1 hour drive you can reach among others the Danish capital Copenhagen. Visit Tivoli, Amalienborg Castle, the Planetarium, stroll through the old part of town and store on Europe's longest shopping street Strøget with its wonderful stores.
