Gem of Lake Marion! Beautiful 3 Bedroom with King Beds, HD & Internet

Located in southeast Kissimmee on the shores of Lake Marion and 30 min from Legoland, this private ground floor end unit is totally renovated and fully decorated and has a screened lanai, 2 king beds, 2 twin beds which can be converted into a third King, playpen/crib, 2 strollers and high chair. The view out every window and lanai is scenic. No looking at walls or other peoples windows, just green forest and palms.

The open concept living room has a 58 inch High Definition Cable TV and Blue-ray with surround sound with seating for everyone and each bedroom has a 24 inch flat screen TV with cable and DVD. There is high-speed Internet and telephone with free long distance to US and Canada.

The kitchen is fully equipped with service for 12 and everything you have at your home kitchen plus more. The unit also has a dishwasher, microwave, full size front-loading washer and dryer. There is no unit out there that is as fully equipped as this one!

Very clean, nice decor, kitchen well organized. Restaurant suggestions were great. We had a little trouble with gate to enter, but figured it out. We didn’t use either of the pools, but they looked nice. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

The property was very comfortable and as pictured. Tina the host had great communication and was quick to respond. The property was very well stocked from dishes, and cookware, towels, games, books, etc... The beds were comfortable and the location was quiet as it was at the end of the road. Overall, a great place for families to stay. The only drawback for us was that the air conditioning was set at 74 and was not supposed to be set lower. We book several properties a year in Florida and have never had such a strict temperature requirement. I would have liked to have seen this in the description as it is too warm for our comfort.

Perfect getaway for a family

The gem of Lake Marion was the best VRBO we've ever rented. Comfy beds, variety of pillows, screens in great condition on lanai and entryway, lots of towels! Ample supplies and amenities in the condo, PLUS a ton of activities available in the condo resort: swimming, shuffleboard, ping pong (paddles in the condo), and a pool table, as well as an exercise room (adults only).The short walk from the condo down to the lake is a lovely nature walk, AND the resort is adjacent to Bellini Preserve, another great spot for nature lovers.We visited LEGOland (30 minute drive) and also had an awesome paddle boarding lesson in Winter Haven with coach Camie. Both of those experiences were amazing, and I would highly recommend.I would definitely stay here again! Tina was super responsive to all our questions, and she truly cared about our experience.

Relaxing near nature

Lovely condo beautifully decorated, clean, & comfortable--esp. the bed in the master suite. The living room chairs reclined! Friends stayed with us overnight once & were blown away by the amenities! Owners truly thought of everything to make the stay enjoyable, from the plethora of DVDs (& books) to the many brochures describing area attractions and restaurants, as well as essentials such as detergents, soaps & dryer sheets. There are portable lawn chairs, a small cooler, 2 sets of golf clubs, and an umbrella (which, fortunately, we did not need!) The owner responded promptly to our questions each time we asked. Location was quiet--no cars go by because it is at the end of a cul-de-sac. Right out the door, the wooded walk to the lake is perfect for nature-lovers! We walked down the road to the lake about twice a day, trying to spot the birds our "Merlin" app identified by their songs. Each time there were at least 10 different species--counted about 30 total, & a deer! Down at the dock, we saw wading birds, eagles, osprey & others. We saw a couple of alligators, too! We met several nice neighbors, and appreciated the diverse neighborhood.A Publix grocery is not too far away; we used the spices owners provided to cook our meals. Ate at a good Puerto Rican Restaurant ("La Garita") in Dundee & Manny's Original Chophouse in Haines City--call-ahead seating definitely recommended. The food was worth the wait!We enjoyed a walk through the Disney Wilderness Preserve in Kissimmee.

We were very comfortable in the condo and enjoyed our stay. The condo had everything we needed. We were aware ahead of time that there is no bbq at the condo, but we did miss that. The pools were clean and warm. 30 minute drive to stores/ restaurants except Cherry Pocket which was 17 mins away and fun atmosphere. Tina was very responsive. I would recommend if you don’t mind driving a distance. We golfed at Lake Bess golf club, it was a comfortable course. I gave a 3 star for cleanliness only because the unit had not been cleaned by 4 pm check in time

Quiet neighborhood condo at the very edge

The place was clean and neat. There was plenty of communication from the host. The recreational area was enjoyable. The condo is a little bit far from local attractions, but that worked out fine for our situation. Very pleasant, quiet vacation.

Lovely quiet resort.

We could tell the property was well maintained, and that the owners do their best to make sure all visitors are well informed about the property and local area. Yes, it is a little away from hustle and bustle, but we like that; and it is only 20 minutes to 'civilization'. We stayed for 11 nights and had no reason to feel that there was anything lacking. Only thing that irked at times was the resort barrier entry - it sometimes took a minute or so to get the pass card to be picked up (cars could end up queueing behind, and the drivers were never patient); but this is hardly the owners' fault.

There were kids that were riding their bikes down the middle of the road and would not move out of the way. The condo above us were smoking pot all hours of the day and didnt care who was around. Other than the skunk smell from the pot it was a very peaceful and cozy condo. We all enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

Nice place Nice clean, well kept place. Unit is in the far back corner of the complex, so it is very quiet. It is a short walk back to the lake, but it is like a park back there! Parking is an issue if you have more than one vehicle. Very nice pools, hot tub and pool area. Pools are warm and not busy. You will be required to purchase the renters insurance that is offered by VRBO when you check in. They cover the cost, but it turned into a huge headache for us. Had to spend over an hour on the phone one morning trying to get it all straightened out! It still wasn't right, they wanted us to call the company again to give them more information, when I resisted, they gave up and said, they had all they needed. Great unit, pleasant owners, in a nice complex, too bad the insurance was such a hassle!

Lake Marion Condo

Overall, it was a nice gated community. No, outdoor lighting to illuminate the condo address or designated parking spot. A/C was locked and not able to adjust temperature to renters needs and Nest thermostat went to ECO at 80 degrees while out.

Lovely place, clean & quiet

Our group of 4 had an excellent stay here. The only issues were that the condo is a good hour drive to anything. Also, there is only *1* parking spot per condo. Other than these 2 issues, our stay was great, and I WOULD recommend it.
