Kick back and relax in this 6-Bedroom, 6.5-Bathroom oceanside Outer Banks rental with an elevator. Tight Lines & Tan Lines is conveniently located in northern Kitty Hawk just one-tenth of a mile from the nearest beach access. Since you can simply walk to the ocean in just 2-minutes, it's easy to work on that tan and keep your fishing lines tight during your entire vacation!

There is plenty of parking in the driveway and under the Covered Carport and an EV charger to keep you on the go. In the backyard, go for a morning swim in your Private Pool* and after a long day of playing in the sun, unwind with an evening dip in the bubbly Hot Tub. Inside, a large Game Room features a pool table, kitchenette with a full-sized refrigerator, and elevator access. A Media Room off the Game Room with a TV provides a quiet place to kick back in front of a favorite movie. A King Bedroom is located on this level which provides privacy from the other bedrooms and a Full Hallway Bathroom completes the level.

Upstairs, access the main entrance to the home from the covered front porch. Great House and Layout, But a Few Drawbacks

We had a great time staying at this spacious, newly renovated beach house. The layout is excellent—plenty of room to gather as a group, with comfortable living areas and updated bathrooms. We really appreciated having two refrigerators and a game space, and the short walk to the beach was a big plus. While you can see a sliver of the ocean from the house, we agreed that next time we’d probably stay a bit closer to the water.That said, there were a few downsides worth noting. The backyard has no shade at all—adding an umbrella or two would make a big difference. The kitchen was completely bare when we arrived—not even salt, oil, or coffee filters. The frying pans were so scratched up I ended up buying one just to use during our stay. It felt like the cleaning crew removed absolutely everything from the kitchen and bathrooms, including toilet paper. There was just one roll of when we arrived, which didn’t feel welcoming. Overall, it gave the house more of a “rental-only” vibe than a homey, relaxing getaway.Check-in also felt too late at 5 p.m., especially since the management office closes at the same time. When we arrived, the ladder on the bunk bed was broken, which felt like a safety concern. Thankfully it was fixed the next day, but it would be more reassuring if check-in were at least an hour before the office closes so issues can be addressed right away.Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but with a few thoughtful improvements this house could offer a much better guest

Tight Lines & Tan Lines - Beautiful Property

Our family enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room, the house was bright, the hot tub was a huge hit. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. We had trouble with the electricity on one side of the 3rd floor, but the electrician got everything straight. I definitely recommend this property.
