Summary:
The Saltaire Cottages are a set of quaint, semi-ocean front properties located at milepost 2.5 in Kitty Hawk, NC. This landmark has been welcoming families to the Outer Banks for over 50 years! We have 1-4 bedroom cottages that each have a kitchen, family room and screened balcony. Our private beach access is directly across the street and a beautiful pool with elevated sun decks is on site. Each unit has heat/air, TV's, stove/oven, microwave, Keurig, toaster, pots/pans, dishes and silverware

The Space:
This 2 bed / 2 bath cozy cottage offers all the amenities of a small house in a beautiful and peaceful environment.

The rooms are simple, clean and comfortable.

This cottage has 3 entrances - one to the main living area / kitchen and 1 to each of the 2 master bedrooms. This allows guests staying in each bedroom access to their room from the outside without having to disturb others in the cottage. There is also a “lock-off” feature to separate the 2nd bedroom if desired.

While in the cottage, You can enjoy relaxing in your bedroom, the family room or out on the screened in balcony.

Each of the rooms in the cottage is equipped with a flat screen cable tv.

Great place to stay. Very clean! Great location. We literally walked right across the street to the beach. Very convenient! Will stay here again. Only downside- we thought the washer and dryer were in the unit, but they aren’t. There is a laundry room with coin operated machines Make sure to bring your quarters..

Generally fine for a cheaper price,. Nice little kitchen and sitting area, clean. This place looks like a converted motel. Definitely not “cottages” as described. You have to go through one bedroom to get to the other, which could be awkward. Screened porch was nice except for the big tears in the screens. Really noisy people outside at 2am and no one on site to complain to. No hot water on check out day. Also payment amount/timing wasn’t accurate on VRBO site. They charged the entire fee I was told I only needed a deposit.
