Over all very poor both the room and breakfast. Staff was kind and smiling, but didn’t speak English very well and several things were misunderstood. Glad we only had one night.

Stayed 31 Oct - 5 Nov 2019 Beautiful compact bungalow resort, set around a lovely pool and restaurant area. The general staff and management staff are very polite and helpful. The bungalows are spacious, well equipped and cleaned every day. We had Bungalow 5 (sleeps four people), it was enormous and well equipped with efficient air conditioning and good shower etc. Good quality lunches and evening meals are available, though variety/choice options are a little limited. The resort has its own beautiful private beach 100 meters away, with ample sun loungers set in a shady area, with its own small beach bar close by. The only minor downside is that breakfast options are a bit limited, though various egg combinations (plus bacon) are available on request. We would highly recommend this resort for a stay of up to 5-6 days. General points:- 1) wifi is slow and unreliable across the Kiwengwa area. 2) Good quality eating places are limited across the Kiwengwa area, also eating places sometimes apply their own unfair exchange rates to drinks and meals... you have been warned. And finally... we can recommend the Kiwengwa Hotel for a good quality evening buffet meal at $18 per person.

GREAT STAY!

This place was amazing. It is quiet and clean. The beach is just across the street. The reviews I read before we went worried me that it was going to be through a village and down a long road. It wasn't!! Matter of fact, it was just across the road and an vacant lot that the hotel owned. Then when we arrived at the beach, it was almost like it was a private beach! The hotel provided beach chairs with cushions under shade and it was very peaceful. There was even a guy monitoring the area. I have been to many beaches here on the island and the beach boys usually ruin the time on the beach, but not here. It was great. There are just a few things to consider at this place, the villas don't have a common area in the villa however the outside sitting area more than makes up and the pool area is good but it's not a huge spread out area. Our family loved it! OH, and the food is AWESOME!! Truly it is some of the best food on the island!!

Domenico’s place is great. Stuff are all friendly, his food is done as you would expect from and Italian man. Everything went exactly as expected, in fact, better than expected!

Mangiare come in italia

Certo ci sarà qualcuno che dice sono a Zanzibar e voglio mangiare Zanzibarino, ma se alla sera volete mangiare bene e italiano qui siete nel posto giusto e per me questo è importante io ero ospite del risorto dal 23/12 al 29/12/2019 e devo dire che la cena della sera era una vera goduria, anche la gente che veniva da fuori al Fis ne ed rimasta molto soddisfatta.

Juste horrible

Avec une arrivée je le concède tardive à 23h le gérant n’a même pas chercher à nous écouter et a dans un premier temps refuser de rentrer. Très agressive et virulent une employée a réussi à le calmer et il nous a laisser entre enfin. Arrivée dans la chambre une horreur les chambres sont très petite les lits en bois très fragile un simple mouvement faisait trembler le lit. Les moustiquaires étaient trouées, le frigo et la télé devait avoir 20 ans au moins. La salle de bain un horreur également. Nous avons écouter notre séjour et avons réserver dans un autre hôtel. Le lendemain matin à 8h nous sommes partis
