Hotel was well kept, very spacious for a Japanese hotel, fantastic view of Mt Fuji, very good breakfast, free shuttle to train stations and very helpful/friendly/professional staff. Our only small negative comment is in regard to the older shuttle driver. He became known as “Grumpy-san” to our family. We are able to converse in basic Japanese, but he would only grunt at us and other riders even when greeting him. Also, he was not very shy about laying on the shuttle horn at tourist which was surprising. Overall Hotel Regina Kawaguchi was a great place to stay and is recommended.

Great view of Mt Fuji from every room

Great view on Mt Fuji from every room and the meals were very good. There are 2 different menus available for dinner, kaiseki or shabu-shabu. Breakfast was always the same buffet but many different choices. Our problem was the room temperature can't be adjusted other than leaving the exterior door open and the duvet was very heavy with no top sheet.

We stayed in several hotels throughout our vacation in Japan and this was by far our favorite hotel. Our room appeared to be newly renovated and was huge! Very clean and so much space. Bed was large and comfortable. Staff was so friendly and accommodating. Shuttles are available to bus station which makes getting to town quicker. You could walk, however it would take awhile and we opted not to do that since it was cold. We enjoyed the hot springs. The view of Mt Fuji was incredible from our balcony. Would stay here again if we are ever back in the Mt Fuji area.

Mount Fuji

Thoroughly enjoyed the area unfortunately weather wasn’t too kind. Sudden snowfall and Mount Fuji didn’t make an appearance. Can it faint the excellent service and quality of the rooms offered

The room was much bigger than I expected. Had all the necessary enmities. Staff was extremely helpful easy to get where we needed. Highly recommend.

Amazing customer service and the amenities were so clean I thought it was all brand new. Every room in the hotel has a full view of Mount Fuji which makes the stay so much better.
