Easy to get to, helpful transfer bus to and from Kawaguchi station and lovely rooms. The view of Mt Fuji from the bathtub is awesome! Breakfast is plentiful with enough for western travelers to enjoy. Free glass of wine and coffee in the lobby with a free snack was also great. We loved our 2 night stay here.

I had a wonderful stay at La Vista Hotel. It’s a beautifully designed hotel with a unique character that really stands out. Overall a good choice to visit fuji. Great views and friendly helpful staff. The location is a bit remote and a car is advisable. 4th room was large enough for a family and views from room are good. Food is reasonably good but set menu style so works only if you are flexible on diet options. Hotel style is unique, a bit rustic and less modern but is ok and they have free wine every evening.

The public onsen was very accommodating. The outdoor tub was one of my favorites especially with the perfect view of Mt Fuji. This is a resort which I was unaware of and kinda wished I stayed another night. Getting around is limited however. Taxis and buses are not too common.
