Nice resort with private beach. The location is just nice, close to almost everything but a little bit away from the crowded bars and restaurants to enjoy the quietness. Just 30s walk to those if you need to. Highly recommended

Fantastic one week stay in Regent beach hotel! Was initially a bit sceptic about the conditions of the rooms as its not the 5 star hotel I am used to as the rooms are a bit outdated. However, absolutely loved the stay and could not have been bothered the least about the rooms being a bit outdated as everything else was spectacular! The pools are wonderful, the beach is very nice and well maintained, the breakfast is delicious and above everything else- the staff is beyond wonderful, sweet and helpful! The front desk staff are amazing, housekeeping ladies very sweet and meticulous and the poolbar/ restaurant staff amazing! Lee, tek, may,wee, tango,palin joy, guy and could go on! We spent most of the days around the pool and restaurant are hence these guys really made such an impact! Without any doubt would chose this hotel again and recommend to anyone going to Koh Samui!! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

The check in process was weird, maybe because it was busy. A fellow just asked us for our passports without identifying himself as an employee. They did give us tea and ice cream while we waited which was a nice touch. They could have explained more things to us like how to use the wi fi for example. The room was large and clean, but the toilet had a sign to not flush toilet paper down and to put used toilet paper in a receptacle by the toilet - gross! We flushed it down anyways! The bed was comfortable. The property is built right up to the ocean so there is no sandy beach area.The surrounding properties are similar so it is difficult/impossible to walk along the beach, at least at high tide. Pool side drinks were very expensive outside of happy hour. The hotel is on a busy, somewhat dirty street with lots of cannabis shops, massage studios, small stores selling trinkets and small restaurants. We tried quite a few restaurants and most food was mediocre. The sidewalk disappears in places and you are forced onto the road. Overall it is a decent place to stay room wise but the location isn't the greatest,and the beach non-existant.

Great hotel, short walk to beachy paradise

Great staff and facilities. Two great pools to lounge around. And very convenient to shopping, eateries & entertainment. One caveat - beach frontage is a little disappointing. But walk 250 metres and it’s terrific (with massages & lounges for hire). No other resort in the area can match its facilities & cleanliness.
