chickens a problem

I have stayed here for the last 10 years on and off and like the owners but it has gone down hill since my first stay . Not as clean as it used to be and getting older now. I like the hotel and room but not as much care given now. The big problems were the chickens running about waking me up at 5am 6am 7am 8am and most of the day making loud noise which is not good for a hotel. I don't want to write a bad revie because I like the owners but the chickens sent me crazy. good veiw of mountains from my balcony which was nice with a morning coffee or evening beer and the room is big enough with a separate kitchen area

Only stayed for one night on my way through. Very nice. Close to the pier. Had 3-4 7/11 type shops in 5-6 min walk. Also a few places to eat and drink. Plus Pizza Company deliver there. Shame no bike rental.

Good room for the price balcony to have coffee on room with kitchenette and friendly owners good restaurant about 500 meters down the road just past amarin hotel and plenty of other restaurants nearby to the sea turn right out of hotel and left at family mart there is a gym in that road as well as bars and restaurants as well

Excellent service

The service here is amazing. The only issue was that the kettle in the room was broken and I had the room closest to the street - so very noisy. Only stayed 1 night. The rooms or bungalows at the back would be away from the street and should be ok. But the excellent service compensated for the bad location.

I have stayed here before and will again ,for the price it is great ,friendly staff big rooms and a balcony.Near to shops bars and restaurants. nice and quiet and has its own garden surrounded by the mountains

Stay at Kanlaya Park

Surprisingly nice looking, large, clean room. Large balcony with seats. The a/c worked well. Note the walk to the beach takes a few minutes and requires crossing a heavily-trafficked street.

What can I say? A fab place, no less. I had a room on the 1st floor , a really big one, especially for a solo traveller like myself. There was a small kichenette attached to it equipped with a big fridge, a kettle , a microwave and the owners even provided an electric wok for me ! They were very helpful and friendly as well as the lovely sisters who cleaned the rooms. One of the hotels(apart-hotels, to be more precise) that I would not hesitate to come back to. Totally recommended. p.s good location close to the beach, the fresh market and 7- elevens, family marts. I recommend going to the fresh market on the left from the hotel, my favorite stall was the one with the Dutch guy and his Thai girlfriend/wife)- really lovely people that sell awesome 10 bht corns !( and never try to cheat , once even gave me a complimentary corn )

A bit far away from the action due to it's location. Perfectly safe area but a walk away from the beach. Recommend hiring a scooter as you will definitely need it.

Cool Comfort

This place was brand new, so that may be why some of my score is a little lower. Like blue sticky plastic still on the outlets new. It was still under a little bit of new construction but didn't notice any noise during my stay. Not a whole lot of storage space in the room however, but a decent closet. The room was HUGE. But the shower was great and a spotless shower/bathroom great TV and internet. Bus stop right across the street . 5 to 10 minute walk from the beach. The place didn't have breakfast included but they did have a basic menu. The good thing is you're in a great local neighborhood. If you head West you'll find a fresh fruit stand. If you head East towards Bophut you'll find Crepes/Thai Coffee. Nice place overall, but has great potential.

Nous sommes restés 2 nuits. En général c’est bien. Par contre le lit n’est pas confortable ( on sent les ressorts) et il avait toujours de L’eau sur le plancher de la salle de bain ( un peu désagréable). Un grand frigo et beaucoup d’espace en revance

フェリーへの中継宿としてかなりおすすめ。CPに優れる。

タオへ行く前の中継地として宿泊。空港からもミニバンで１５０バーツ。朝食なしでも２０００円以下でこの広さと設備なら申し分なし。 　つぎのひ、港まで無料で送ってくれることが大きな利点。部屋は広く、清潔、シャワーも熱く、冷蔵庫もついている。さびれた町の中にあるので飯屋以外には店を探すのに苦労。マッサージを探すがすまでにかなり歩いた。 　でもコスパの点で、フェリーへの中継宿としてかなりおすすめ。

Einfaches Hotel ohne Extras, schlechte Lage :(

Wir waren dort für 2 Nächte untergebracht und sind dann weiter Richtung Chaweng bzw. Fishermans Village. Hotel liegt direkt an der Hauptstraße. Man kann dort schon für 1-2 Nächte verweilen, aber aufgrund der schlechten Lage und den anfallenden Taxikosten, um abends schön essen zu gehen, ist dieses Hotel im Vergleich zu anderen ohne Frühstück einfach zu teuer. Meine Empfehlung, direkt eine bessere Gegend.

Leuk proper hotel

De kamer die we geboekt hadden was helemaal verschillend met wat op Expedie.be stond.Na klacht bij hotel een gratis upgrade gekregen van hotel zelf,terwijl het niet hun fout was.Klacht bij Expedia maar geen antwoord.De nieuwe kamer was wel goed en dagelijks gepoetst met gratis drinkwater en toiletartikelen,minibar betalen.Het draadloos internet was een ramp,werkte maar af en toe en zeer zwak.
