We stayed here 18 years ago on our honeymoon and have returned with our children. All I can say is that this place is a slice of heaven and even better than I remember it with the most attentive staff, we can honestly not fault a single one of them from the front security who I think may be the smiliest person I have ever met to the cleaners, the pool staff the buggy drivers, the spa staff and front desk. Too many to name them all but thanks especially to Donut for our tour arrangements and Soi for the most fabulous spa day and Torn for the fabulous cocktails at the pool bar. The rooms are lovely and clean, the food is amazing especially all the fresh fruit and smoothies. The breakfast is fabulous. The gardens are beautifully kept and the yoga session was worth getting up for. I’m running out of superlatives but this is truly a special place. It is a little more out of the way which is part of its charm but taxis are pretty cheap and we hired a car for a few days to go further afield. Thank you to all the Tongsai Bay team for a wonderful holiday

Beautiful property, very attentive staff. I really liked the ability to be able to put all expenses on our bill including transportation and trips, scuba diving, tours etc. I was skeptical at first but their prices with their partners were competitive or lower than I was able to find on my own. The beach and pool were fantastic as well as the food. The villas are exceptional and very private. My only caution would be that the resort is very spread out and there are a lot of steps which was very nice for us but may be a challenge for those with any physical limitations.

This resort surpassed my expectations. The customer service is fantastic. Garrya is secluded and quiet. Most of the other resorts are in town or on the busy highway. Our stay here was perfect. The best resort/hotel I have ever stayed at. The front desk booked reservations and lined up transportation for restaurants and activities in town. Kookik knew us by name by day 2 and would say good morning everyday. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a very nice & relaxing stay.

The room had an amazing view and pool. The staff were above and beyond friendly. The spa was a very relaxing and memorable experience. I appreciated the daily free activities such as yoga and tai chi on the beach

Real 5 star experience but there are a few things that can be improved about our villa. The shower door wouldn’t shut properly and the toilet flush isn’t strong enough.

We were extremely satisfied with our stay at Garrya Tongsai Bay. The staff are all extremely friendly, and no ask too big. Room spacious and clean, with a fantastic view of the bay. Facilities and the resort itself are of the expected quality, and lived up to expectation. I would highly recommend a stay here, and will be returning again soon.

Garrya Tongsai Bay Samui is a good property, very ideally suited for a quiet chilled holiday for couples or someone with young kids. Firstly the good things - Staff is very helpful and always willing to go the extra mile. Rooms are nice, sizeable and tidy. Pool and beach area is quite good. The not so good things are - limited dining options, its the bar and one restaurant. If you want anything, you need to get into town by a Grab. Parts of the resort are getting old and worn and need renovation. Last but not least, the bartender makes the worst cocktails, he really needs lessons on how to make decent cocktails
