Clean enough for price. Place felt very safe. Staff was very friendly and let us leave our bags safely for the day before our train. Very happy with stay

I got sick the day I got on the overnight train to Kolkata so when I got to this hotel I needed some help, and the staff did a great job, getting medicine, bringing food, etc.. Understand that this is a very basic hotel and not to western standards, but it's right in central Kolkata for a good price. I can't complain.

El peor hotel de mi viaje

En base a la contraseña del wifi parece que el hotel es del 2010, y me atrevería a decir que desde entonces el único mantenimiento que han hecho es barrer las habitaciones. Humedades, suciedad, insectos y un estado general que no se soluciona ni con una limpieza a fondo. El hotel se encuentra en el segundo piso de un edificio en decadencia, cuyo acceso no me hubiera atrevido a entrar de no haber estado acompañado por un local (en un lugar así en Barcelona no entraría ni acompañado por el propio director del hotel…). Una vez en la habitación la situación no mejora: una cama tan dura como una colchoneta de yoga, suciedad por doquier y elementos en mal estado. Solo estaba la sábana bajera, las almohadas y una única toalla por habitación. Como algo positivo: la amabilidad del personal, el desayuno estaba bastante bien, y la ubicación muy céntrica. Confié en este lugar por las buenas reseñas; y la única explicación posible es que son falsas.
