Paradise lost. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend or give a positive review . Small things: Had to ask for paper products (napkins/facial tissues). Kitchen was not well stocked with dishes and the chairs were dirty. Noise from upstairs as the guests above seemed to be up in the middle of the night walking around. Not the fault of the owners but I will not book a lower unit. Big thing: Workers appeared and began a cement construction project on our third day that took place at the back patio and side of the unit which involved the removal of existing walkway. There was constant sawing, hammering of concrete, drilling and engine noice from diesel engines of the excavator and tractor. This went from Tuesday morning until Friday afternoon. The noise was constant and we could not be in the unit during the day. I brought this to the attention of the host on Tuesday and was told that they were "not informed of the project". No offer was made to move us as VRBO states they can do. I asked for some type of financial compensation, but that was denied. Essentially, the owners are taking NO responsibility. Will not go back.

We loved our stay in this property and hope to use it again. All the amenities are as advertised. The pool, hot tub, and gym are nice. There are adequate kitchen tools, all the appliances are in good working order. All very clean. The patio faces away from the pool area, and toward the greenbelt, which is beneficial because it is protected from wind, and much more private. There is a nice hose and nozzle to wash sand. We used the beach chairs, umbrella, boogie board, and cart. It is in close proximity to Brennecke Beach, with only one street crossing for the kids.

Fantastic place & location. Excellent host communication from start to finish and they also provided some nice added touches including snacks upon arrival. Plenty of soft comfy towels & tons of beach items along with a wagon. We had a baby under 1 with us and the pack and play & highchair were in the unit at arrival. The pool was just steps away and the beach a quick walk. We saw sea turtles every day at the beach. Nearby many stores, shops and restaurants. A short walk to the local farmstand which also made fresh smoothies. Tiki lamps around the pool set the scene each evening! We didn't want to leave.

This is a wonderful property right in the middle of Poipu Beach and Shipwreck beach,about 10 mins to each. It is on the nature walk path and is very calm and relaxing. The pool is amazing and the kids had so much fun at the pool. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Definitely would stay here on our next visit!

If you're looking for a quiet location that's close to Poipu Beach, this is great. Quiet, large condo with a lovely pool. It was wonderful that these condols supply chairs, umbrellas, coolers and beach toys too. Easy to park and walk to the beach. We enjoyed our time here.

Perfect Family Rental

This place was perfect for our stay with a toddler and two sets of grandparents. The place looked even better in person and was very clean. If there was anything to critique it would be sometimes hearing the footsteps from the people in the unit above and an occasional loud group in a neighboring unit, but nothing lasted after quiet hours and overall the whole complex was very quiet and peaceful. Came with everything we could have asked for and more. Excellent location next to the pool and a short walk to two beaches. Five stars and would definitely stay again.

Beautiful resort property, very close to stunning beaches. Our group was 6 adults and 1 toddler. This is a ground level unit, which is fantastic. No stairs, no elevator, easy to step off the lanai and walk to the beach. Keypad entry made it easy for our large group to come and go. Under 10-minute walk to Poipu Beach โ€“ even when pulling the beach wagon provided. The beach is lifeguarded and โ€œprotectedโ€ by jetties, so it is generally friendly for kids and snorkelers โ€“ and sea turtles, who sun there in the late afternoon. Thereโ€™s a playground and shaded picnic pavilions adjacent to the beach.Grounds are beautiful and well maintained. There are tennis and pickleball courts, too. We also enjoyed the hot tub by the pool. The unit is a large, comfortable condo with high ceilings, and is well furnished. Beach supplies were plentiful and very useful, especially the wagon: lots of bath and beach towels, toys, shovels and buckets, umbrella, and chairs. The large and well-stocked kitchen, poolside grills, and large dining tables both inside and on the lanai allowed us to have nice family meals together. We used the poolside grills a couple nights, and each day staff cleaned them thoroughly.The new, large in-unit washer dryer worked very well, and detergentย wasย provided.

The condo was very nice. Great location to walk to the beach, restaurants etc. the pool was right outside the condo. Unfortunately our stay was cut short because of a medical emergency so we were only there two nights. I would definitely come back, it was a great place.

Nice place. A little dated but clean and nicely laid out. Everything functioned properly. A short walk (approximately 150 yards) to the beach and a 20 foot walk to the pool. I would stay here again.

Great stay in Poipu

We absolutely loved our stay! The proximity to the pool, beach and family restaurants was perfect! The owners were responsive and friendly. The condo is very, very comfortable. We had a group of six adults and one nearly 7 year old in our group; we all enjoyed the space and amenities. I think the Lanai was our favorite. We could be outside despite the weather and enjoy the lush gardens that surround the condo. We will definitely be back!

The Villas at Poipu Kai

Wow, what an incredible property. We loved it here. We were three couples who enjoyed this well appointed condo. There are beautiful beaches within an easy 5-10 minute walk. We easily toured the whole island using a Shaka self guided tour app of the North shore . Helicopter ride, ATV experience and so so much more. The property amenities are amazing too and we enjoyed the pool adn hot tub as well as the BBQ. The gals joined a fantastic water aerobics class too. We walked to beaches and beautiful scenery as well as happy hour close by. This is a fantastic property with a very responsive owner.

Relaxing Stay

My family of five adults stayed here and had a fabulous time. Wonderful location, near to the beach and activities. We loved opening the lanaiโ€™s doors letting in the air. Would stay there again.

Fantastic Place!

Kauai vacation

Our stay at the condo was excellent. The property was clean and well stocked. The location was great with easy access to the green belt walkway and beaches. The beach gear was very helpful. The property owner & manager were very prompt in answering any questions. Thank you!
